The benefits you receive depend on whether you choose to join Flexiclub as a Free, Annual or Monthly member. Check out the benefits we offer for each Flexiclub membership in the pricing plans above.

Flexiclub is open to all golfers living in New Zealand who are non-members of a golf club. It is not for short-term international visitors. 

Any member of an affiliated Golf New Zealand club who has resigned is required to stand down for a period of 12 months before being eligible to join Flexiclub, unless exempted, which is at the full discretion of Golf New Zealand. Contact flexiclub@golfnz.org to check your eligibility. 

Once you are a member of Flexiclub, you can book a tee time at a golf course, subject to course availability. You can book a tee time at many golf clubs through your My Golf Profile at golf.co.nz or through the Golf New Zealand App and Tee Booking App. Each time you play, you must pay a green fee which can vary in price from course to course. 

Annual or Monthly Flexiclub members are eligible to receive an offer for affiliated green fees. Please note that an offer for affiliated green fees is at the full discretion of a golf club and not all golf clubs have an affiliated green fee rate. 

You need to submit 54 holes of scores. This can be made up of 6 x 9-hole scores or 3 x 18-hole scores or a combination of both. Scorecards must be dated, signed by yourself and your marker.  

A golf club may provide you with a provisional handicap after the submission of one scorecard which you can use until you gain your official Golf New Zealand handicap. 

Once your round is booked, on the day of your round you'll be able to create a digital scorecard via the Golf NZ App, under Scorecards menu. If the scorecard for your tee time doesn't appear, seek help from the pro shop at the golf course.

If you don't print and enter a scorecard manually in the pro shop, your digital scorecard must be entered on the same day for it to count as a handicap round.

Having an official Golf New Zealand handicap makes golf a more enjoyable and interactive experience. A handicap allows golfers of all ages and skill levels to compete equitably against each other which makes golf one of the most unique sports in the world. You will also be able to track your progress over time, compete in corporate days, charity events and other fun competitions with your friends and family.  

Previous members of golf clubs can obtain their previous history of scores. To retrieve your old scores, please include your old membership 7-digit ID number or where you were last a member when you sign up.

Your Flexiclub membership will continue indefinitely until cancelled and the recurring membership fee will be automatically deducted from your billing card at the end of your current subscription period. 

You may cancel your Flexiclub membership at any time. To cancel your membership, login to your golf.co.nz profile and click ‘cancel my membership’. Your membership will expire on the next payment due date.
